Our Mission

We strive to provide the best possible concierge level medical care for your California college student. Our subscribers can reach our physicians by call, text, and video. We provide telehealth visits for injuries and illness, as well as treatment for ongoing medical conditions including prescription refills.

What is CaliforniaCollegeCare

CaliforniaCollegeCare is a new type of medical service designed to conveniently treat college students living in California- especially those with families out of state.

When will CaliforniaCollegeCare be available for sign up?

We are taking enrollments now.

What kind of features will CaliforniaCollegeCare have?

For an annual subscription, our patients will be able to call/text/video with one of our physicians on demand. Patients will receive competent care via telehealth to manage acute injuries and illnesses, as well as established diagnoses requiring medical management and prescription refills.

Why do I need this?

If your child resides out of state, your family doctor can not prescribe across state lines- particularly controlled substances. Other options include on-campus student health centers, Urgent Care, and Emergency Rooms. All of which include a degree of inconvenience transportation, and cost. Our physicans give parents piece of mind that their child has access to prepaid quality healthcare when away from home wihtout insurance entanglements.

What is the subscription fee?

Our normal fee is $3,000 per year with a fall term sign up. We do prorate for spring enrollment. We offer discounts for siblings, and reduced renewal fees.

What is included for the fee?

We are board certified pediatricians. We provide on-demand telehealth visits. We can prescribe throughout California. We partner with pharmacies that deliver prescriptions to your student when appropriate.

What is not included for the fee?

We are limited to treating patients who reside in California. We are also limited by scope. Severe illness or injury may require evaluation at a hospital or Emergency Department. This subscription based fee will not cover any costs outside of the services delivered by its physicians. CaliforniaCollegeCare does not cover conditions beyond primary care. CaliforniaCollegeCare does not cover the costs of prescription medicines. CaliforniaCollegeCare is not a substitue for medical insurance.

Will I be informed of my child's encouters?

Once a patient is 18 years old, phsyicians are prohibited from sharing medical information with anyone without written consent from the patient. Given our unique arangement, the phsycians at CaliforniaCollegeCare prefer to obtain written consent, so that we can keep parents aprised of their child's health.

What payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Speak to your financial advisor about using FSA or HSA funds.

Are there any discounts?

YES. We have 3 forms of savings: 1. We offer $250 referral credit (max 10 per year). New patients must list the referring patient at the time of their enrollement. Credit will be applied to the referring patient's renewal. 2. Subsequent renewal years are discounted to $2,500. 3. We offer a discount for siblings- full charge for the first patient and 50% off any simultaneously enrolled patients.
